By air or ship you can go to PortBlair from Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai. The distance from PortBlair to havelock is 50km. In the morning 6 a.m. ship started to reach havelock from the phoenix jeti of PortBlair.You can go by a.c. speedboat also.Time required to reach 3 to 4 hour.

Indian Nationals need no permits to visit Andaman. However, visiting tribal areas of Andaman and Nicobar District is prohibited and permits can be granted by the Deputy Commissioner Andamans District Port Blair in special cases, on receipt of application in prescribed form.
