It is located 25 km from Hyderabad by road. Its area is 3.60 sq km. Southern tropical dry deciduous forests of degraded nature. The topography is undulating having rocky exposures of the Deccan trap formation. The park is endowed with the last vestiges of the endemic flora of Hyderabad and is an urban refuge for small mammals like Wild boar, Jungle Cat. Civet Cat, Mongoose. Monitor lizard, Python, Russel’s viper, Cobra, Grey partridge, Quail, Cheetal, Sambar & Butterflies. Accommodation is available at the Cottages for day visitors only. Best season to visit throughout the year.
