Dadra and Nagar Haveli is situated in the western corner of India. This magical land of 72 villages once ruled by the fiery Portuguese. In 1961 the territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli became a centrally administered union territory of India. Lush green forests, meandering rivers, large waterfronts, cascading waterfalls, the gentle gurgle of streams, the distant hills, a gorgeous kaleidoscope of flora and fauna makes the place an ideal tourist destination. Eighty-nine percent of the total population of the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is comprised of tribal population.

Getting There:

Rail: The place is well connected by railway with the rest of the country. The nearest railhead is Vapi at a distance of 17 km from the capital city.

Road: The place is connected with the national highway network.Silvassa is about 180 km from Mumbai and 120 km from Surat.
