
Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary
The Principal Faunas here are Bonnet macaques lion tailed macaques, Nilgiri languor, Loris tigers, leopards, jungle cats, and civet cats, Mongoose, foxen bears, elephants, gaurs, Nilgiri tahrs, spotted deer, Sambar, barking deer, wild boars, pangolins etc. Reptiles which can be found here are crocodiles, Varner pond terrapins, cane turtles, geckoes, skunks, chameleons, snakes like king cobras, spectacled cobras, kraits, vipers, pythons green keel backs, rat snakes, vine snakes etc. The Principal Flora which can be found here are neem, nanjanathi, sandal, dendrocalamus and bambusa arundinacea, teak, vengal. Muzhukanjiram, maruthu vaka, mulluvenga, rosewood, manjakadambuy pala, elavu, vembu, aval, vanteak.
