This Sanctuary is established in 1981. Its total area is 45 sq. km. Alligator, Chinkra, Chital, Wild boar, Blue bull, Peacock, Monkey etc. are Principal Faunas are found here. Teak, Khair, Dhawda, Seja, Jamun (Syzizium), Pakar etc. are Principal Floras are found here. Nearby tourist spots are Khajuraho and National Park, Panna, Rajgarh Fort etc. Circuit House, Khajuraho and other hotels of Khajuraho are available for accommodation. Best season to visit is July to March.
