Son Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary

Son Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1981. Its total area is 209 sq. km. and 200 metres wide strip along whole length of the river, both sides. Son Gharial sanctuary is situated at Madhya Pradesh in Central India. Here Alligators, Crocodiles, Tortoises are the Principal Fauna. Self-owned four-wheeler Petrol vehicle or Diesel vehicle, which is not older than five years, is the means of travelling inside the area. Forest Rest house, Sidhi is available for accommodation. Sanjay National Park, Sidhi are the nearby tourist spot. No vehicle is available in the Sanctuary for the purpose of touring.
