Dampa Wildlife Sanctuary

A tiger project has been undertaken in 1995 in Dampa Tiger Reserve developed in 1976.As per 1997 census tiger population of hilly Dampa spreaded over an area of 500sq km is 5.Besides there are hulak,gibon,leaf monkeys,snow loris, squirrel, elephant, leopard, antelope with branched horns, barking deer, gaur and many other wild animals are available here.
