Simlipal National Park
The important tree species of the region are the Sal, Bija, Terminalias, Champa, Kadam, Mesua, with varieties of Orchids and fascinating Ferns, Mosses and Lichens. The Similipal National Park is also the abode of varieties of faunas viz. Tiger, Leopard, Wolf, Hyena, Elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer, Cheetal, Percupine, Pangolin, Wild Boar, Hornbill, Phthon, King Cobra and many more.
