Kakuni lies in Baran district, 65 km from Jhalwar in Rajasthan. Some ancient temples dot the ruins of this old township. A life-size idol of Lord Ganesha and a Shiva Lingam of the 8th century A.D. are the impressive structures. Ruins of Bhimgarh fort lie on the other side of the Parvan River and are worth a visit.
