Nathdwara is situated at 48 km from Udaipur in Rajasthan. It is a popular site. The important 18th shrine of Lord Krishna has a black marble statue. It is more than 600 years old and was brought from Mathura in 1669. It is one of the richest shrines of India. This is the most celebrated of the Vaishnava shrines of Shri Nathji or Lord Krishna. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the country visit this shrine everyday, and the number increases to one lakh during ‘Diwali’, ‘Holi’, and ‘Janmastami’.
