
Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary
Sita Mata Wildlife Sanctuary, Dhariyavad is located 64 km from Banswara and 78 km from Chhittaurgarh in Rajasthan. This sanctuary is a thickly wooded forest sprawls over the Aravalli ranges and the Malwa plateau with three rivers flowing through the forest. According to the legend, Sita, wife of Lord Rama stayed in this Jungle in Rishi Valmikiās Ashram after she was exiled by Lord Rama. The common fauna that can be sighted here includes leopard, hyena, jungle fox, porcupine, sambhar, wild boar, four horned antelope, nilgai and flying squirrel. Best accommodation is available at Banswara and Chhittaurgarh.

Air: Udaipur 224 km is the nearest airport.
Rail: Nimach 34 km and Mandsaur 62 km at Madhya Pradesh is the railhead. Chhittaurgarh is better way to access the place.
Road: Sita Mata has well connection of roadways through Banswara and Chhittaurgarh.
