Marina Beach
The Marina Beach, the pride of Chennai is the second longest beach in the world and has a wide sandy foreshore. Situated on the beach, the Anna and MGR Samadis are memorials for popular former Chief Ministers of the State. They attract thousand of visitors every day. Aquarium is also located in Marina Beach. Some of the most beautiful buildings in Chennai such the University of Madras, Senate House, Chepauk Palace, Presidency Collage and Ice House are located on this beach drive.
