This sanctuary is located Khammam district. Its area is 656 sq km. Dry deciduous Teak forest with Bamboo, Terminallias, Anogeissus etc. are found here. The Kinnerasani Lake is very picturesque. Animals found are Tiger, Panther, and Gaur. Cheetal, Black buck, Chinkra, Chowsingha, Sambar, Wild boar, Wild dog, Hyena, Jackal, Sloth bear and a variety of ground nesting and aquatic birds. The Kinnerasani lake and water pools harbor marsh crocodile. Accommodation is available at the Forest rest house at Paloncha and Kothagudem. Best season to visit October to June.
