Kanha National Park is situated at a distance of 165 km from Jabalpur. Kanha National Park is one of the biggest park in Madhya Pradesh, India. Kanha national park is one of the finest and best administered National Parks in Asia. Kanha was recently declared The Best Maintained Tourist Friendly National Park for attraction of all wildlife lovers and a true heaven for its animal and avian population.
Bamni Dadar is popularly known as Sunset Point. This is one of the highest plateaux in the tiger reserve and offers an enchanting view of the beauty and vastness of the park.
From this point a spectacular sunset can be watched. Sambar, barking deer, gaur and four-horned antelope can be see from this point. Kanha has some 22 species of mammals, most easily spotted are the Striped Palm Squirrel, Common Languor, Jackal, Wild Pig, Chital or Spotted Deer, Barasingha or Swamp Deer, Sambar and Black Buck. Kanhna also has some 200 species of birds. Elephants are used for tiger tracking .

By Rail: Nearest rail station is at Jabalpur and Bilaspur.

By Air: Nearest airport is at Jabalpur. Jabalpur is connected with regular flights from Delhi & Bhopal.

By Road: Daily bus service is available from Jabalpur. Private taxis are also available from here.
