Sanjay National Park


Sanjay National Park was established in 1983-84. Its total area is 1471 Sqkm. The Sanjay National Park is located in the Sidhi District and Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Faunas like Tiger, Panther, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Chousingha, Cheetal, Gaur, Bear, and many species of birds are found here. Floras like Sal, Saja, Tendu, Dhawda, Haldu etc. are found here.  The visitors may visit the area by means of their own four-wheeler vehicles that are not older than five years. Nearest tourists spot is Bada Caves at a distance of 25 km from Sidhi. There are in all six-inspection huts in the area, viz.-Kusami, Bhadoura, Paudi, Chool, Devsil, and Kurthi. To stay inside the park there are six inspection huts – Kusami, Bhadoura, Paudi, Chool,Devsil, and Kurthi .

Best season to visit is October to December. The park is closed in rainy season.

Timing of the park :

The park is open from 7:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. on everyday.
